I have a question regarding the canopies for new kits. When you see them in magazines and ads with all their components laid out, the fuselage always has a solid fiberglass canopy. In addition, there is usually a vacuum formed canopy as well.
What's the fiberglass canopy for? Why supply both?
Thanks

Russ: What you see in most cases is the frame for the canopy.
It is easer to make the mold with the canopy and then use this to make the glass part. Some people just paint the windows.
