Littlepiston. . .

Thank you for your interest in the new and exciting micro turbine we call the Flea. During it's debut at Florida Jets, the overwhelming response and interest immediately indicated we were on the right track.

Ongoing testing and evaluation (we are flying weekly) is bringing us closer to a concrete release date later this year. As with all our new model turbines, we will not go to market unless until we have concluded the turbine is ready in every aspect.

Watch this Forum for future release information, or contact me directly thru email for updates. For those who may be reading this post from other parts of the world, contact your Jet Central Turbine authorized dealer.

Sincerely,
Eric Clapp

Littlepiston, not sure what small project you have in mind for the Flea ? Have you considered using a Super Bee @ reduced max rpm or is it the small size of the Flea you are interested in ?

Do you really believe that ?? And IF you do, I'd say that you should go ahead and get something else and not waste your time waiting

BECAUSE - IF I was a turbine manugacturer and had the military offer me 10K for my engine, you better believe I'll make it and sell it to them VS having to sell it for 2K or so to a bunch of modelers that would do nothing other than complain for cheaper prices

just my .02C.

I'd buy one, but I'm afraid I would misplace it in one of my shop drawers.
You could put it in your pocket and forget it's there and run it through the laundry or some such thing!!!

LOL !!

For me - I'd just keep it in the nice case all Jetcentral engines come with until I attach it to a airframe. That will take away the excuse my wife would have to put it through the laundry or as she normally applies (when I leave one of the toys on a table or something) right to the garbage [:@][:@]

I'm actually seriously considering one as I have a perfect airframe sitting around which would also be perfect for some smaller fields closer to my house than....

Hi,
because the Lambert Kolibri is VERY expensive.
But I need a little turbine because I have only a little landing field.
I´m flying a very quick and perfect F16 with a 69mm impeller.
This plane is the perfect one for these little turbines and I´m hoping,
that the price is going down when another product is on the market.
The Kolibri costs about 2500.- Euro
but a bigger Funsonic only 1500.- Euros.
There´s no chance for me to fly such a heavy jet on my place[]
