I am currently building a JHH F-16 for turbine power (new SimJet 700). I intend to make the stabs full flying, my question is....How do I figure the amount of torque required by the servo? I would like to put mini servos in the tail but not sure of the amount of torque required to drive the stabs?
Is there a formula for this?

Be carefull: The M'plex calc sheet only gives a rough approximation and the Excel spreadsheet recommended by Matt is good but each of the references only addresses classical linkage issues, NOT "flying" stabs. You have to be real careful here ...
The stabilator pivot point has to be established at some point relative to the MAC (mean aerodynamic chord) of the stab and then the loads determined relative to *that* moment.
