All I can say is - TOTALLY AWESOME!! I've had the 3000 for awhile, but just couldn't make the time to run her due to college, work, and home - until now...... The quality and fit of the 3000 is absolutely superb!!! I can tell that a lot of time, thought, and effort went into the design and building of this turbine - solid and well built with the end user in mind!!
The TEMS unit is very user friendly and a breeze to use. I was amazed at how nice the gas ignition was and the ramping in of fuel was quick and smooth - an easy start each and every time! After numerous runs, the 3000 continued to perform flawlessly! The temps always remained very stable and low irregardless of the rpms. Throttle response is quick and slams were approx. 3 seconds. The instant power available is incredible!! No turbine whine or whistle here - just a pure, deep roar. The service and assistance from TJT is far above par!!!! But, it gets better! After everything checked out, it was time to do a demo at our club's Christmas Party. Present were our club members, members of surrounding clubs, and various guest - about 40+ total. After running through the numbers for the guys, I asked what they wanted next. Everyone had a grin and was giving the thumbs up to see what the 3000 could do. So, I all too happily obliged - didn't want to be dissappointing a bunch folks. Thank God for my Mickey Mouse Hearing protection. Ran her for all she was worth doing slams and max throttle runs - all the while watching my temps and feeling the 3000 rocking and pushing my 560 lb. Mobile Test Cell!!!! What a Beast!! The temps still remained stable and low through all of that - I would have figured that she would have heated up a bit, but the 3000 didn't - that impressed the hell out of me!! I've got 40 + guys that can attest to what they saw, felt, and heard!! Hey, guys go ahead and chime in and tell them what you thought of the TJT-3000 Eagle. Mr. Chris Mounkley, I sincerely appreciate your honesty, outstanding service, commitment to your customers, and for building an outstanding product!!! Thank you for making this turbine experience the most pleasurable yet!!! For those of you that's thinking about a TJT-3000 Eagle - go for it!!! You'll be glad you did!! I'd say that I'd have to give the TJT Team a two "Thumbs Up" on this one!!

I have to say my TJT 3000 is running great also, and it is the best turbine I have had to date. Glad to see you are happy with it. I am very pleased with the turbine and service from TJT. The machining is the best I have ever seen.

Going flying all day Sunday with my TJT 3000/Isobar combo. I expect I'll have the same great power and reliability from the engine that I have had for almost 1.5 years. Fantastic product!

Boy, that's not your 'every day' test bench, nice work...

Good luck with the engine.

Yeah, but unfortunately the Isobar is probably heavier than my test bench. I am a structural Stress engineer at work on space related structures. Us Stress guys have been known to trowel on a little extra epoxy here and there, its in our blood. Can't help it!

Default tjt 3000

Hey guys listen,
GT-Maxx isn't kidding, he is a friend of mine and I was also at this function and everything about the tjt 3000 is very impressive. I've seen my share of engines that were nothing but a pain to set up and get running properly, but I was with GT-Maxx when he finally set up his engine and I was very impressed with how simple and complete the instructions were.
The engine fires up every time without hesitation and performs flawlessly.
I must give a portion of credit for the flawless starts to GT-MAXX for designing and building the only adjustable regulating propane pressure valve that makes starting any turbine an absolute breeze. All you do is adjust the pressure to the manufacturer's specs and well what else can I say but its a beautiful valve.
Anyway my hat is off to tjt for this engine. It truely is a work of art.

And I guarantee you my next engine will be a TJT engine!

Default Demostration

Gt-maxx (Todd),
Our local model club had a Christmas party, Todd gave a tremendous demostration on the TjT-3000. This was the most indept demostration on a turbine engine I have seen in 3years of jet modeling. Todd didnt miss anything with the specs, saftey, how the turbine works, and start-up and shutdown procedures. The test bench design on Todd's was the most safest bench I have ever seen. Great Work, and keep up the good job..
