picture problem
#2

Hi Joe,
I have had exactly the same problem in the past for quite some time ( using mac os10.3) . I can only use explorer to post pics, which is a pain because it is slower than Safari. I hope the tech guys can sort this one as I would like to post more pics but it is a little laborious using explorer.
You are not alone!
Craig.

I have the same problem here, but I also have a Windows machine and a Linux machine on my desktop, so I switch to one of them if I need to post pics.
It would be nice if the functionality worked with Safari though. Safari is faster than IE.

Hi Joe, I mentioned this to Marc quite a while back and he told me that there are bugs uploading pics with OSx and Safari and AOL. You can use IE-but it is crap, the best thing to do is to download Firefox-It works perfectly every time (the Jetcat of Mac browsers!) Scott

I will post this on the mods forum as a reminder to the webmasters.
We are aware of issues with the uploading and appearance of images.
However as you guys may know, there have been quite serious problems with the site servers especially the database servers for forum. It may be a little while before anyone has time to look at this as it may have knock on effects.
IMHO Mac users should switch to Firefox. [ It rocks ]

I asked the same questions to webmaster about 2 years ago, but no solution. I end up just use PC with IE to post pictures, but not use MAC for RCU.
