Yes there are a few of us brits attending again this year, the last time i saw (in fact the only time i saw) the F16's was in 2004. They were awesome, especially when they fired their machine guns, the sound is unbelieveable, i will be taking my eurofighter this year powered by merlin MKII, its a fun aeroplane with that shoved up its ar$@!!
Im sure we will be having a dance as usual in the beer tent on the Saturday!! fingers crossed for good weather!

This year there won't be F16's. Friday the 21 july is a official holiday in Belgium so the military has a free day
For pilots that want to register, here you find info and the registration form

Just sent off my paperwork today. looking forward to a great meeting. Shame about the F-16's I think my memory of them was from 2002 or 2003 when they did their bomb runs and then did a display for all those model pilots there. When the last 16 came directly at us from 2 miles away until overhead at maybe 60-80 feet and it hit reheat........ Not one model pilot was left on their feet. Amazing experience.
A great model show as well from what i remember. just the right level of big show variation and small show atmosphere.
See you all there, regards Al

We went way back in 1998. People made comments about shooting/bombing practice from full size. It was miles away and hard to see them.

RE: Jets over Pampa 2006
I'm sorry I shan't be at Pampa this year - it is one of my favourite meetings. Our friend John Benson, who always travels with the Wren team to Pampa, is getting married on Saturday so that has upset the plans for this year.
However, as Sandor has said, Mike will be there. (He won't be on foot all the way - he has hitched a lift with our friendly local fliers, the Jet Gypos). He will be joined by Wren pilots Lucien Gerard, Chris Seaman and Dave Wilde. There won't be a Wren Tent with engine spares and home-made cakes this year, though - Mike and the pilots will be too busy flying. Sandor is now Wren Dealer for the Netherlands and Belgium so he is there to give support too.
Have a good time and post lots of pictures.

Sara ,
This year meeting was really good and despite the heatwave (over 30°C on sunday) many flights were done and with very few crashes which can attest for the general excelllent crafstmanship and pilot 's level.
For those who are familiar with the Pampa, this year was not a long green runway....everything was toasted!
here are some pics.
Enjoy
