Default propane valve

I have been looking for some time now for Power Max (90-10) in the silver cans that we all know and love.
However looking at Coleman's website they discontinued it. There is another mix 70/30 can available but our triggervalves will not work with them. I have been to every Sportsauthority store within 30 miles from my home on Long Island NY without any luck. Does someone know of a different trigger that would work with the
new cans??. Maybe BVM should look into this also since he seems to be the only supplier of the trigger.
Thanks for any solutions. I would be happy to buy a case if I could find it.

WS,

There seems to be quite a bit of Powermax on e-bay. Give it a try.

Hi Swansons
I bought the 4 cans that you mentioned in your reply.
With shipping it is a little expensive but heck it is better than not having any
Thanks again

Just do a search for "Powermax fuel" and you will find many places that sell Powermax. It doesn't appear to be discontinued...Gary

My local REI store has Powermax in stock. If there is one near you they may also carry it.

If you or Gary can get a hold of Powermax, Len Macintosh and I will take two cases
Let me know how much and I will send you the $$.
We have friends going to Chicago and Michigan who can take it back with them.
Thanks in advance

Gary,
I checked the Coleman Website and could not locate it. We used to buy it at the Sportsauthority but they
do not carry it anymore.
I have checked every store within 30 miles. No luck

Ed,
Are you, Len or any of your friends coming to Michigan Jets next week? If so I can give them directions to the store. Not sure if REI has any cases in stock. There might have been 20 cans on the shelf last time I was there. I thought their price was a little high, $4.70 per can plus tax, but at least they have it.

I buy it here:

Shipping is reasonable.

The trigger is also available from Dreamworks.

Go to the Sports Authority in Westbury on Old Country Road. I saw 2 cases there about three weeks ago. Didn't have enough cash on me to pick up any, just enough to pay for what I was buying.

Joe,
I went to at least 1 store that you had not cleaned out. Way out east on LI. They had about 100 cans
I bought 12.
According to Russ there is another store out East on the Northshore that also has plenty
To Everyone who was helpful, THANK YOU
Ed
