Classic Jets #27 took place last Friday and, when the sun came out, many of the 65 pilots entered came out to fly! Thanks to all who came along and especially to those who helped make it a great day...Chris Gregory, Tom Wilkinson, Paul Lewis, Andy Aldridge, Geoff White, Andy Tiplady and Jonathan Smith. Cheers chaps!
A few pictures follow...
Cheers,
Dick
PS...there were lots of expensive looking digi cams at AB with people who looked like they knew how to use them...don't be bashful, let's see the pics!
Ali's Mig with the doors just opening and a colourful Eurosport flown by Dave Stephens...

Avonds F-15s are still very popular here in the UK...superb flying model...David Gladwin (all the way from Oz) and his Bobcat just after logging flight #100 and Mark Hinton's (Skymaster, I think) F-15, which was flown well, as usual.

Paul Leighton (aka The Animal) tends to his twin boomer prior to another flight with his co demo-pilot John Palmer. Animal also flies all Alec Cornish-Trestrail's models, including the Sea Vixen shown earlier.
Jeremy McMillan's well happy with the way his reliable Spider Jets F-16 flies. JetCat P-120 powered model.

Dave Wilshere and Trevor Skedge fill up one side of the pits with their air force...and Dave Stephens and Ali Mashinchy do the same on the other side. There's rarely a time when any of these chaps are not flying something!
That's all the pictures I have on CJ for this forum...anybody else want to chip in?

I think I may speak for all the pilots last Friday whenI extend our sincerest thanks to Dick Spreadbury, Chris Gregory and Andy Aldridge, Dave Tappin and Tom Wilkinson (and any others who helped with the organisation) for another first class Classic Jets, a top class meeting. Superb site, no BS, no hassle, friendly and safely operated by people who know what they are about. A big thank you.
With best regards and sincerest thanks
David Gladwin.
