I am about to start on a Skymaster MB-339 ( expecting to have it delivered this week ) , and would like some info from those that have done these ..
- how are you sequencing he landing gear doors ? im thinking of a up-2 valve .. and when the gear is down, just letting the nose gear doors close up against the strut ..
- does the plane come with wing fences ? or at least templates for them ? if not, does anyone have the templates for the wing fences ? most of the SM MBs I have seen have these installed.
- I will be powering the plane with a p120 ( I had the engine laying around and figured id stuff it in a MB ) anyone out there flying one of these on a 27 lbs engine ? what do you think of the performance ?
- Does anyone sell wing tip tanks for these that are scaled in 1/5 ??
- What should I be aware of or watch for during the build ? any issues ? I am also adding the speed brake option, and cockpit kit ..does the plane tend to come out nose or tail heavy ?
Thanks very much !

To answer your question:
1. We use Jet-Tronics value and sequencer most of time, since it very easy to set up. Sorry, I don't have too much experience with UP calve.
2. The plane come with wing fences. No extra charge.
3. P-120 will be fine, since this plane have large wing area. The first prototype tested in factory was P-120, no problem at all. Just for your information, if you decide go Titan or P-160, the tail pipe come with combo (in AirPac) is designed up to P-180.
4. Under wing tank available.
5. The plane come out slightly tail heavy. It will just balance with cockpit.

Wojtek, what are you doing ? What happened to that Rafale you been raving about for months now? I cant see you starting another plane when you got so many to finish. You planning on going back to your old ways and stocking up for Friday, Saturday and Sundays ?

Don, i have this pile on my desk and i need to do somehitng with it ... If i don't stock up on more aircraft, my desk will for ever be a mess !!
by the way, i have another pile in the garage
The MB will be a nice big plane with a good presence in the air ... also, i need somehting to relax me between every 5th BobCat flight
Eric, and everyone else, thanks for answering my questions. I have a few jet trinic valves around, so i will be able to use these. For those that are not aware, Aeroloft has a scale nomenclature set for these big mb-339s if anyone wants to do the camo or grey versions.

I don't think you will make that statement IF you saw the front end view of that pile !!
