Getting started again . . .
1) Another view showing the L39 and how much activity there was on pit row
2) Frank Alvarez's F15 just prior to application of full military power and brake release
3) Nick Rende standing guard on the corsair
4) The airshow briefing team

RE: Fun In The Sun At The Maine Jet Rally
Okay, yeah, we missed you maybe just a little bit. Don't get a swelled head or anything. We didn't miss that Wojtek guy at all though. He's just trouble ;-)
ORIGINAL: Adil Nasim
Ouch!![:@]
I still have not gotten over not being able to attend at the last moment but I had no choice with work....[]
I did however call regularly to check in on the action. I know its not the same as being there but....
Looks as if I missed a great time. I will of course try my best not to miss it again as it is one event that is a MUST GO TO in my books.
I must say however... That I feel special now getting a few messages from Anthony through some of the attendies regarding me not being there and it kinda makes me think I was thought of and missed [sm=bananahead.gif]

Whatever you do, don't miss this event next year. After all, you wouldn't want to be big-time, overworked, scared-to-drive-at-night and scared-to-fly-in-front-of-people losers like Adil and Wojtek now would you?

My one chance to chime in and sign off from this years event. I want to thank everyone that made the trip for attending. I trust all had a good time and will grab a friend by the hand to attend next year. Truth is without your participation the event would not take place. Also want to thank our large group of volunteers and the Propsnapper R/C Club. My home club which I've been a member since age 10. David, John and Jeff as we've all come to expect, an awesome job! A special thanks to airshow pilot Dan McCue and Bob Davis along with the Collings Foundation for your talents and use of the Heavy Metal. Your contribution to the Maine Jet Rally 2006 will always be remembered and appreciated. Antony thank you for you continued support and enthusiasm. I've enjoyed hosting the party, it appears our efforts paid off. Many asked upon their departure "How will you ever top this one." The fact of the matter is we'll be sitting before the Airport Advisory Committee in the morning planning next years event. Dan and I have already discussed a surprise or two for next year. Look forward to seeing you all next year.............................................. .....Ray Labonte
PS: I for one missed Adil, needed a wingman to harass David. I have nowhere near the talent to tackle this one on my own :-)

Yipes! Ray wrote something on RCU!
Isn't that a sign of the Apocalypse in the Book Of Revelations?
Hey Ray, you know you will have my support as long as you and the guys want to do this event.

Ray, what makes you think that Adil can be trusted ? He said he had to work and could not come to Maine. Thats funny because the airforce spotted him out flying on Sunday some where over PA. Its also very obvious that Adil is still very loyal to the BVM logo by his choice of clothing ( he must have ten of those cause you never see him with out it.) Not that David cant handle himself against you guys but I would be more than willing to team up with David to harass you guys right back and Adil knows you dont want that to happen You where not really going to throw me out after my question at the pilots meting where you?[X(][X(] Thanks for another great one, see ya next year.

does your computer say C-arf on the side of it ? Just kidding, sometimes RCU seems to get a little overloaded and the thumb nails take a while.
