RE: Woodland/Davis Jet Fun Fly
Just remanding you, Woodland/Davis jet meet is in two weeks.
Man!! it's been a busy month, Fresno, Superman, Woodland /Davis, then LA jets and that should do it for the year, the good thing about the ending of the year ( among many things ) is that we will do it all over again soon, new jets to fly, new people to meet, new fields to visit, new friends and so on, but for now get ready for the WOODLAND/DAVIS JET MEET.
PS:It's a fun event were you get to burn all the Kero that you can handle.

Dean,
It's more like 50' of lawn at each end, but there is a long semi smooth dirt area after that at each end plus a full length grass runway parallel to the pavement. Most of the photos here are taken from the grass runway.

I will be arriving on Thurs afternoon with my large RV and will be staying until Monday morning. Any gate issues this year where I won't be able to get out on Monday?

Friday will be the first day to turn and burn. I've been checking the WX and it's suppose to be excellent , lets hope it stay that way.
Last WX report for the jet event is forecast to be sunny, light winds from the Southwest ar 8 mph or less and in the mid 70s, so in other words !!!PERFECT!!!

I was at the field yesterday (Wednesday) and a few turbines already were warming up and the motorhomes and campers are rolling in. Looks like the weather is as Carlos predicted..... perfect! See you there.

Pictures from today (Friday the 13th). The wind picked up a bit around 10:30AM, but was directly down the runway. Lots of flying and friendly people here at the field. I met two guys from Washington State, they drove all the way down to fly at the event. I hope to see more jets tomorrow!
