Guys,
I need to know who manufactures the best nose spotlight/navigation light kits out there??
They will be going on my Airworld Hawk and I don't want to mess around with anything other than the best on this model.
I saw some displayed at JetPower in Germany but stupidly didn't look at them in any detail as, at that time I wasn't going to fit them on the Hawk. Anyone know who the company was?
So, any ideas/thoughts??
Thanks,
Mark

Hi MArk!
I used a system with standard LEDs and was not really satisfied with that. I now have two different systems to test: the one from flugmodellbau.biz and the one from Optotronix. Both are very bright and can be seen during flight. Hard to see on very bright day if you are too far away, but that is how it is. The optotronix is very small but needs some fiddeling with electronics and is not as nice to set-up as the flugmodellbau.biz one. That is bigger but easier to handle, programmable and has more features (rotating beacon....). Stephan Völker uses the flugmodellbau solution on his big Hawk.
