Default FlankerCat

What about a combination of a BobCat and a Su27?

I think I am going to give it a try with one of the Pusher Bobcats.

Hal,
Looks good. I'm a bit worried about the width of the sheeting at the flap/aileron hinge? Be careful!

BTW...where did you get the pod(fuse) from?

The plane is one of those $129 Pusher Bobcats.

I'm not sure what you are talking about on the sheeting. I did not modify the wings any. I just added the booms. They are very sturdy. I used 1/8 inch ply.

Here are some pictures of the construction of the wings. The plane will have retracts so I have shown the bottom view.

JetBoy I see a resemblance to the DV8R but not much.

It is still flying today. I'm really pleased with it. It flys the same as the original model out of the box.

I don't have a picture with the motor mounted but here is the finished plane.

Hi, Thanks for the update even if it is 2 1/2 years. It would be nice to see some video of the Flanker flying. Mick.
