Y/A F-18 Single..any build threads?
I am about to purchase a Y/A F-18 single for ducted fan (sorry, can't afford them turbines just yet). Has anyone documented a build on this forum? I did a search which yielded many questions about this bug, but no build threads. Thanks...

You will love that F-18, it was my first jet model and it flys awesome. You may found a lot of help from Shawn Evans aka YellowAircraft. I am sure he will come in this post any time.

I'm on my second one now. First was D/F and was one of the nicest flying models I've owned. My latest one's for a Wren 54. Build it as per the instructions and you'll have no problems.

I have a pipe for the Yellow F-18 if any of you guys are interested, it's a Tom Cook bifurcated with the heather, retainer and two of the gaskets. PM me if you like to get it, I will give you a good deal as I no longer need it and no longer fly D/F

My self and my brother are also in the process of building one of these. I have just started mine. Shaun Evans of yellow aircraft has been very helpful with all of my questions. I think my brother is going to start a new build thread to pick everybodys brains without having to use the search function.

Hi,
I'm glad to see a build thread of this bird going up! It's such a super flyer. The only issues it has are with ground handling, but even those have tips and tricks that keep it pretty fun and manageable. You won't believe how slow this bird can get to for landings.
