Default Beginner Jet combo

Hello guys,

I am flying RC for 14 years and very good at 3D flying of both airplanes and helis, i have basically flown any type of flying machine over the years, with the exception of turbine jets, which i only got to fly twice, and briefly.

Anyway, im thinking of buying a local used Composite ARF Kangaroo, and was wondering about how good would you think this combo is to start with ?

- Composite ARF Kangaroo, i believe it has Model mechanics retracts
- JetCat P80
- 6 x Hitec 5645 servos + 3 analogs for nose steering, retracts and brakes.
- Powerbox Basic + 2 x 1500 Powerbox Lipos

Your opinion is always welcome !
thanks,

It's a great combination......just do a search about Roos regarding landing. People that have problems are landing too fast. It has been much discussed here on RCU.

Yes, it is a very good combo and specially in your case your airplane had already the motor mount lowered by the previous owner. This will
eliminate the peculiarities of the original Kangaroo. The P-80 also is a sweet engine and it is perfect for this jet.
