Default X-3 Stiletto

Hello,

How come that there is no any X-3 model aircraft around ?

Anyone ever tried to build one around .91 DF or even turbine ?

It would be really impressive model in the air.

Is it possible to make one of these on that small wing ?

It seems that F-104 Starfighter is a good flyer, and have similar layout
except X-3 Stilleto have little longer nose...

I was thinking the full scale took three miles of runway/dirt/Edwards to get flying. [X(]

I do beleive Bertella has the plans for 91 DF power, and that it has indeed been flown.

I think the real one never received the engines with the desired thrust levels the plane was designed for. Which was common back then... I'd suggest wearing shin guards when taxiing this model! [X(]
