Sounds good Tam, if the weather isnt good enough by then I am not going to fly down o I will come by holding "green gifts". I got the stabs glued in last night so progress is good. I have to say everything fits great so far Tam. Looks like those QC trips are really paying off!!

O.K guys.
Last week I promise to made the jig for easy assemble kit version.
Here it is. This jig is very accurate and it make the assemble in two hours job instead of all day try to get it alignment.

Tam,
That jig setup looks great. I'm thinking an A4 would be the perfect birthday present to give myself!

Bob, the stabs are not removable. They are so small anyways there is no need to remove them for transport. They are permanantly glued in with Hysol and Aluminum rods. I am hoping to have mine ready for the next Buttonwillow trip but we will have to see about that.

I just wanted to thank Tam in advance for such a nice looking kit. Last night I finally got around to checking out my A-4. It's been in Tam's shop for a while, I was going to pick it up in person but was just too busy over the last three weeks. So I got home last night from a working trip and the big brown box was sitting there in the entry way with a note from my wife saying, "What... is... THIS[>:] !!!? Now you know why I was thinkiing about picking it up - it would just be another box and a new jet would be hanging up on the ceiling behind the others. "... what new airplane honey? Oh.. that one's been there forEVER!"

The accuracy of the parts, fit and finish and quality all look excellent. I received the white ARF, I'll paint it in a late 60's fleet scheme.

Thank you again Tam!

Eddie,
No problem......So it is O.K. for your wife sign for Jetcat box?
Just told her is another old engine sit along with other.

Well, today I feel little better. The cold is not gone yet. But my body can do some works. Everytime I walk in the shop and my secretary handle me the lists to do. I just want to go home.

Buck,
If you catch cold from your A-4 kit.
Don't worry. It just regular cold. Nothing serious that I bring back from ASIA.[sm=lol.gif]

Tam

you don't want any of the stuff i've brought home from Asia.

Pm or call when it's enroute so I have an idea when to expect it.

Happy Turkey day

cheers

Tam, did you use the 8611's on the flaps and rudder? Where else did you place all the other sevos? I know the 225's are for the air system.

Ian,
I use Jr 2721 or Jr 8411 for flaps, Jr 3421 for rudder, elevators, and ailerons.

Today I set up the jig to try out on Buck kit.
It came out perfect. I take the measure all around and only find one stab is higher than the other by 1/16". This could adjust on the final glue the stabs or left it along.
Jig is good to go.
