You'll love the BobCat, I am now building my second, an XL. The first is flying beautifully with a PST 600.

Just as a matter of interest, the BVM leaflet on the BobCat says :
in less than an hour, even the most meticulous modeller will hold a completed, ready to cover (the stab.) assembly in his hands.

Building the stab. for my XL I tried to match that. After 1 hour and 48 minutes I had the stab, in my hands, finished ready for a final rub down before glassing !

What am I doing wrong ???

BRG,

David Gladwin

David - you just need to take less coffee & RCU breaks during the building process.

Honestly guys , no coffee, no RCU breaks, nothing but continuous work ! Perhaps my stopwatch is running fast or Australian time goes quicker than it does in the US. Anyway the second BobCat is well on the way.

Anyone for BobCat pylon racing at FJ, single class, 500 sized engines only !

Back to the building board !
BRG,
David Gladwin.

Did you guys fly the BC with the CG per plans or else? I am planning to fly mine this weekend so let me know.
Also, one of elevator servos is faster than the other, you can see one side moving higher(up by 1/16) than the other but then the other side catches up. I traced it to a faster 3301 digi servo! Any problem with that except for minor trim!!!
This is the short (like me) Bobcat!!
