The pic of the Cessna was the result of an actual emergency as the guy was flying over the field. Im not sure exactly what was wrong with the plane but he was in and out in a few hours. While all this was going on, poor Bob Covish was trying to keep his plane in sight!

The weather was great... T-shirt weather!!! It started out cool and wound up in the 70's. We had an interesting incident. A cessna declared an emergency and landed at the field..... Here are more pics that show the field in the background. There are several fields here in the south Alabama and Western florida area that are even nicer than this facility... Open every weekend, come on down
They're pretty expensive to join though... Probably around $25/year
