David James in the UK has already done this, with tip tanks etc. The pic below is in our website gallery and David's description is:

"It's a Boomerang XL painted as SAAB J-21R, fitted with lights and wing-tip tanks (span increased to 100 inch (2540 mm)). Wren Super Sport. 2.25 l main tank, 0.5 l header tank. Duration 10 minutes plus. AUW (dry) 29 pounds (13.2 kg). "

Scott - dontcha just hate it when you come up with a cool, original idea, only to find out that 6 million people before you came up with the same original idea ?

No matter - go for it anyway !

Hi
Found some nice pictures in my computer.
This is the only one left, well its build from the prop version without real plans.

I have photos of all the aircraft.
A friend of mine made moldings that are very god scale.

Regards
Anders Wikman

GSR, This is the plane I would love to have as a bash or stand alone kit. The last RCJI there was mention in the begging that there was a man doing a short kit. The BB or XL would be great.

John, who kitted the flitzer that you know of?

Since the full scale FW-226 never flew, wouldn't it be ineligible for anything scale?
