Chris, when I get home this evening, I will take some measurements and send them to you. I have the Blue Angle version but the hard points were pre drilled.

I was sure they were pre-drilled. I have a jet legend F-18c and they are pre-drilled just like my SM was... PM me if you don't get the help.

Chris, here are the measurements that I get. All measurements are parallel to the root of the wing. There are 3 different pylon stations. The first one is the inner pylon, the rear hole is 5-7/16" out from the root and 2-7/16" from the trailing edge. the forward hole is 5-7/16" from the root and 7-1/4" inches from the T.E. The middle pylon rear hole is 10-9/16" from the root and 2-3/16" from the T.E. The forward hole is 10-9/16" from the root and 6-7/16" from the T.E. The outer pylon rear hole is 13-13/16" from the root and 2" from the T.E. and the forward hole is 13-13/16" from the root and 5-1/2" from the T.E. Hope this helps and good luck with your project. Just getting started on mine, I might need to ask you some questions sometime.

How are the rocket rails attached to the wing tip? The rails have holes in them where the screws should be located but there are no holes to receive them on the wing tip. Is that wing tip hardwood? If so I could use self tapping screws to hold the rails on. I would like to drill and tap the tip if the wood can accept that.
Thanks!!
Dom

thanks for all your help, as for the wingtip rails i ysed hysol and screwed them in with wood screws seemed to be good hard wood to attach to.
the gear doors are a real **** make sure you have a lot of patience when working with them.

It certainly would not hurt to drill and tap the wing tip. I do not believe that it is hard wood though. If drilling and taping doesn't work, then maybe you could use 1/8" wood dowel. That was my plan.
