looks like a bd5 with alot of mods i think it's a BD-5 you see alot of them painted as the silver bullet

piston ? wheres the prop ? hmmm ... i could have sworn it was a jet ...

The prop is probably off to keep anyone from trying to fly the poorly designed thing. That one is in a Kansas museum so they probably just have it sitting out there with no engine.
