Hey Spartan,
Don’t disrespect the Weatronics gear. I would respectfully inform you that the latest offering from this company has an Rf signal meter. Does your JR receiver have this feature? I think not. See attached picture.

I have spoken to the UK supplier of the Eagle Tree system and they are going to try and make a 4 aerial system that will stick to the velcro straps arround the bypass. This way they should pick up sats regardless of the possition of the plane.
