Here's the comments my friend sent out with the photo. My friend was a F-86 driver and had flown formations similar to this. He had an accident in his pool at home which left him paralized from the waist down. He was flying for the airlines at the time. Now confined to a wheel chair he flies RC. A great guy.

BluesThis is a great shot showing how close these guys really do fly to each other. For my non-aviation oriented friends and relatives that are uninitiated to the breaks of Naval Air, this was taken from the slot plane flying inverted behind Blue Angel lead, who is also flying inverted, in case you didn't notice it.
Great shot! Just beautiful....

That is Pensacola Beach on the port (left) side of the photo (...but the starboard (right) side from the viewpoint of these Blue Angels).
