I must check in......this was my first FJ and will be the beginning of many. Words cant describe the aircraft or camaraderie of all the pilots and people involved. I've been told by many people that the experience was worth it, and thats an understatement. I went through one month of intense therapy to be able to walk(limp) around for this event and the sweat and pain was worth it....shooo it was worth it for the banquet alone!!!! I laughed myself silly there and the auction was the best!!!! Already got reservations for next year and to those that I met or saw me it was nice meeting you all!!!

Thank you guys. That's about half of it so far. When I get a chance I will post more. What you see is reduced quality of less than 1 megapixel, the originals are 13 megapixels so you can imagine how those would look blown up!

Here's a few pics I took with my new El Cheapo camera. Just wanted one that fit in pocket for convience. Had a great time as usual at Fla jets. thanks to Frank T and the crew. In one way, the poor weather made this FJ more fun because It allowed more time to visit with old friends and make a few more.Long story short, met a gentleman that was in Korea with the 67th (same as my Scale f86) we were connected thru a site on the net about the Korean war and turns out he lives in Lakeland. That was really cool!!!!Be sure to check out the Falcon interior pics . Somebody has WAY to much free time.LOL Scott

Oh my[X(] I am not sure there are any photos on Dave's camera that would be safe to post on RCU![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Now since there is a really crazy shot on there that Carlos took that Dave probably won't post since it is on his camera, there is an obligation to post these that I got with mine...not quite as good as the one on Dave's but you will either enjoy or be offended by them LOL.
To understand, these photos were taken on Sunday. The night before at the auction John Redman got coerced into autographing the box of an E-Flite Airliner....in an effort to boost the bids.....what can I say it got pretty crazy there. Well as a continuation next up for bid on Sunday was none other than Dave P. himself...I think...or at least it makes Dave worth more with an official John Redman autograph. ( or is it ownership? we may never know LOL)![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
By the way, I wonder if that came off yet?

All I can say is "WOW"! This was my first time to FJ and I had nothing but fun (except for the time Presta made me wrench on his F-18). I had a great time getting to know some of you guys out there and look forward to more events. Thanks to Tam, Wilcox, Carlos, Presta, David, Bob, Jeff, Jimmy and Mcbride for all your help, you guys made this trip a blast. It's great to be home, I sure missed my family.
Uh oh...I smell garbage!

I had lots of fun at FJ, the flying was off the hook and energetic, many awesome jets and lots of superb pilots.
I spend most of the first two days in the back bringing back to life an A-4 that got damage during transportation ( it was ready to fly again on Sunday morning ) but in between I had the oportunity to enjoy some of the best flying ever, also I had a chance to meet some of the guys that I wanted to meet, Bob V. for the second time, Carlos from RTI ( thanks on the tip for the RAM ), David Rivera ( I'm sure he is enjoying the Rafale more than ever ) Tod from Dreamworks ( Tod thank you for the tools they were very useful ), Ali from Al's hobbies nice to see you again ( How can you handle Presta? ), the gang from Dominican Republic Miguel S, Alex enjoy that A-4 and the Rafale ( don't forget I like rum and coke) and friends ( sorry guys to many names to remember, but the next time for sure ).
Tam, Bob and wife Sue, Dave p, David Aussie, Jimmy, Joe M, Russ G. guys I had a great time. Lets get ready to do it again soon, how about California Jets? ARE YOU READY??????????????

Here's a couple 'o shots of Dewey's big Yellow Aircraft Hornet. He was smooth on the sticks and the aircraft performed well. Great to see you again Dewey!

Stephan Volker's BAE hawk (Skygate) is simply amazing. It is Huge and scale and flies great. Stephan's plane was performing well until an unfortunate incident (I posted a picture on the other thread) when the motor flamed out and he came up short on the runway.
The damage was minor, so hopefully the plane will be in the air soon again.

Ali flew the same plane in Red Arrows scheme but I unfortunately didn't get any shots of that amazing flight. His Mig was most impressive (and nearly as good looking as his collection of leisure suits!). The wings just look too small to believe he can pull the high G manuevers he does pull. It was also hauling the mail, so much so that he blew the canopy off a couple of times until he resorted to some very scale duct tape to hold it on. Nice flying you wanker!
