I have been flying my old JR 10SX yeah yeah it's old but I never had any issue with it... knock on wood. Flying season is here again and I am ready to buy another radio. With all the new tech coming out SS 2.4 Ghz , weatronics, 14Z and so on. I am very happy with JR stuff so which do you I should get. I am thinking just get a JR 10X tx only and get the Weatronics receiver system. I would still like to have at least 10 chanell or more to stay on a scale configurations for future compitition. SO WHAT WILL IT BE ???.
TIA

I wouldn't buy a new radio now unless I needed to. There's too much new 2.4Ghz stuff coming out between Spektrum and Futaba that a 10+ channel radio has got to be around the corner.

IF you do go with a new JR 10x it's well worth it to get the full setup. a friend got a new 10x TX only a few weeks after i got my 10x and for the 400 bucks extra i paid i got a module, 10ch PCM receiver, 5 DS8611 servos (worth 115 bucks each), switch harness, 1400 receiver battery and the data safe all of which you can sell and make twice the difference on if you don't need them yourself.

I use an old 10sx as well. I was thinking on getting a newer 10x too. But the 10sx works great. I'm going to hold out to see what happens in the next 6 months or year or so. If the big boys come out with a 10+ channel SS, I'm in.

If, however, you must get a new radio, go for the MX22. It is basically a 10 channel JR radio built for Graupner with their programming. Much better than the standard 10X programming. All the receivers and modules are interchangable with the 10x. The only thing the MX22 doesn't have is a buddy box capability with a 10x.
