over here in the UK we pay £4 per gallon and have to drive economical cars that do 40 to 50 MPG to do our little bit to save the planet.....and you lot are doing what? pouring the stuff down those big bores and burning it like it's going out of fashion!
nice one, thanks.

God bless America ehh, Cheap fuel, the right to complain, and the right to stick my tounge out and poke fun at those who think they are better! :devious:
Sorry you have to drive those Mini's but how else would you guys fit down most those streets designed for horse and buggy? Honestly, if you want to save the planet, revert back to the horse and buggy!

Ok now if the price of gas over there went up from 4pound to 4 1/2 pound pretty much over night, wouldn't you be, if nothing else, unhappy to pay it?

Paul, if you really wanted to save the planet you wouldn't be flying turbines, you would be flying small electric planes.

Not really. Electric planes have a lot of horrible chemistry and heavy metals involved. Nickel, cadmium, etc...
Plus, electric power uses MORE energy, in the end. That power has to come from SOMEWHERE, before being sent down those powerlines. Usually some coal-fired plant.
Now, SLOPE SOARING, that's environmentally friendly.

Alright, looks like everyone had there say and were going in circles.
Plus were really not discussing jets anymore and this post is getting reported so something must be done.

Thanks and take care.
