A very GREAT big thank you to Debbie and the entire TIMPA crew for another class event. It was one very hot weekend...........Record heat with respect to temeratures.......99-102 on Friday and Saturday...........Hot winds on Saturday........but it didn't keep anyone from flying......and lastly, some Hot flying.......low, fast, and some grace.........Pictures to follow.

DITTO DITTO DITTO!
Once again, Debbie and her crew did an excellent job of making us all feel at home. The TIMPA field is one of the premier flying sites in the West if not the US. Roger kept us all in line to make things safe and hassle-free....I had a great time. This event should be on every jet flyer's calender. Here are a couple shots that Jeff took................Who, by the way, got signed off for his waiver this weekend as well. Congrats, once again, Jeff!!!

Tailwinds,

John

Due to a prior commitment, I had to leave Tucson Saturday night. Jeff brought my A-7 and equipment back Sunday morning. I was glad to see that my bird had made it home safely. I was even more glad........actually overwhelmed to hear that the SLUF had taken both the Pilot's Choice AND Best Scale Flight awards!!!!!!.......That amazed me since I hadn't even voted for myself in those categories!!

Thank you to all who voted for the A-7. I am truly gratified by this..........................

John
looks like you all had a great time in Tucson. Understand it was a little warm, but its a lot better than the RAIN/ICE/SNOW we had on the east coast, i hope to be in attendance in 08. I'll be in the valley the first week of april maybe we can have a jet fly at SVF that week ,since Jeff will be retired ,Jet Wavier in Hand, and have nothing to do other than burn Jet A .

Thanks for a great weekend. Debbie, Clay and all that helped, you put on a fantastic event for all to enjoy. This was my first jet fly to watch so thanks for making it a memorable one. I just might have to do it again.

We would like to echo all the above comments as well. Debbie, Clay and all the volunteers who help out just make this event better and better each year. What a great place to fly jets, with a fantasic group of people, and wonderful weather to cap it off. Can't wait to come back next year and do it all again.

Clay, Ryan, Skeet, and especially Rick, you have all made a BELIEVER out of me. You win!! Maybe I should change my name to Elmer Fudd.
