First turbine help
Just got my first turbine, a Simjet 1700. I have a couple of questions, and there is no one else in this area playing with turbines. I have over 30 years experience on the big turbines, that is not much help on this baby. Propane, can I use a gear air tank for storage, or what do I use. Do I need a regulator to fill it, or what. Help.

First turbine help
Yes you can use a spring air type tank for the Butane/propane mix. When you fill it at first you will notice not much gas liquid goes in, when it stops you must purge the out by venting the fill pipe for a few seconds and then fill it again.Make sure the tank you fill from is warmer than the one you are filling as the increased preasure will force the liquid in. No need for a regulator.

First turbine help
Hi B-58
My first suggestion would be to download the new operators manual at:
http://www.simjet.com/service.htm
The manual illustrates the propane system and hook-ups.
I'll make myself available to you for any questions you may have.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Craig
