I've got the plan to, but didn't like the look of it so I'm not going to bother. Saw one fly at Hucknal a while ago and it seemed to go well. Try the JMA I'm sure they will know who owns it.

What engine/fan do you recommend? I am thinking about ordering the plan as I enjoy balsa bashing and have a NIB OS91 VRDF sitting in the cupboard. In the book it says it is all built up construction, is this true? Also what is used for the ducting?
Thanks
Stuart

All the budjets I have seen are powered by a OS91 and seem to go fine. as for the build I can say that I do remember the fuss being built up but bot too sure about the wings.

Thanks for the input, have managed to to dig out an article in RCJI which says it has foam wings + tail surfaces, might give Pat Teakle a bell.
If anyone out there has built one of these please drop me a line.

I've got the fuz part of the plan in front of me now. If you buy me a burger and coke at a jet meet you can have the plan! Seriously send me your address to [email protected] and you can have it for free. For the record |'ve got a ramtec for my os91vrdf.

I still have the plans and canopy for this one - I don't think it's a bad looking plane at all - something like a cross between an F22, F15 and something Russian.
Cosmetic changes are easy without affecting the flight characteristics.
Canting the tail fins outward would be my first job along with rounding off the rear end of the fuselage getting rid of that boxy look. I am still looking at other changes like bringing the tail plane up into the same line as the main wing if possible and finally, minor changes to the shape of the nose end of the fuselage and you can have something that, with a decent paint job, looks bang up to date.
The whole idea of these plans were to provide a cheap model to get into D/F Jets - nothing there to say it can't be modified into something better - that's what this hobby is all about
I know this is an old thread but surely someone out there has pics of this plane other than the 3 pics I can find on a google search !!
Mark.
