Are they any goood? They look pretty fun. How much do they cost and whats the best one for a begginer to get?

Where are you in NJ? There are a lot of clubs in the state with a bunch of people who will help you get started. I would recommend going to a club meeting in your local area and getting first hand advice from the members as to what plane you need to buy. Some clubs own their own trainer planes so you wouldn't need to buy your own to get started. Personally, I would stay away from park flyers.
Also, look into buying a computer simulator. If you start now, by the time flking season gets here you will have a good head start.
