ok guys, gonna pick brains again.
#1 what kind of recieverpack should i use, current one is 600mah 4cell (for a jet?) i am thinking of a 5 cell 2400 mah
#2 how can i identify my fan unit in my f16?
#3 how can i set up my steering gear for my f16 so there is no slop. shoud i set up a pull pull system?
#4 where can i get a starter wand
#5 what type of fuel shoud i use (i use coolpower 15% in my sport planes currently)
btw this is a yellow f16A with sport retracts os 91 df not sure which fan unit. tons of paint to strip off. good spring project.

#1. 600 mah should be fine if you aren't using power hungry servos. As with any plane check the battery before every flight with a loaded meter.

I would guess the fan unit is a Dynamax since that is what the Yellow aircraft jets seem to be designed around. Count the rotor blades. If there are 11 blades, it is definitely a Dynamax. If there are 9 blades, then it is likely to be a Ramtec fan. It is not likely that it is a BVM fan. The BVM rotor has 7 blades.

ok fan is dynamax, 11 blades. thanks for the answers. i dont have a digital camera. i will check with the lhs owner who is into jets, he has a turbine and building a jet, he can help me with steering setup.
