PRIMING THE JETCAT P160

Hi,
A friend of mine has just bought the new JETCAT P160 and would like to prime/work the pump. This could be easily be made with the older version of the P-80. However, when he tried adopting the same P-80 priming procedure on the new P-160 he found out that it was not possible.
Can anybody please let me know how to get the P-160 pump primed. He only intends giving the pump a bit of working time before using it in a jet.
Thanks
Reuben

I’m surprised he hasn’t read the instructions. Go to “test functions” then “pump test” press “change value item” and the pump will run, also the fuel valve will open.

Hi Mick,
When everything fails read the manual....but! They must have sent him the wrong manual [:@] because that part which you quoted is missing. In fact, he only has a 53-page booklet. Whilst checking JETCAT USA website I downloaded the P-160 Manual but this one is different as it has75 pages, i.e. 22 missing pages missing.
I have meanwhile printed the relevant parts of the manual for him.
Thanks Mick
