Default Difference between Futaba 12FGA and 12ZAP

Hi.
What is the difference between these two radios? The FGA lists for $999 at Tower and the ZAP for $1399. Niether come with servos, both have the same RX and TX functions. The ZAP has a 7.4V 2200 Mah Lipo tx pack where the FGA has a 7.2V 1700 Mah NiMh pack. Other than that I can't tell the difference or explain the $400 price gap. Any help would be great.
Thanks!!
Dom

Differences are shown here http://www.futabarc.com/radios/feature-compare.html

Appears to have different model memories, logic for switches (whatever that means) and inflight mixture capability. Other than that they look pretty similar.
