Default Coleman Powermax (WHERE) Local.

What retailers carry Coleman Powermax fuel.
Are their stores that carry this in stock? I tried the local: Home Depot, Lowes, and Westlakes, Walmart.
These guys acted like I was asking for Uranium 235!!!
I ordered a case online, but I don't want to wait till next thursday.
Thanks:
Dennis

Do you have any stores that sell camping stuff like Cabelas etc.? We have sports stores called Academy down here, not sure if they are cross country yet. Try the yellow pages under camping equipment. Good luck.

Hi Dennis,

Around our area only stores that carry Powermax are sporting goods stores. I'd try one of those if any are around you.

Hope this helps.

Dennis,

Check a camping supply store.

Also, you can use the 70/30 Butane/Propane fuel.

I know it is a little drive, but that new Cabelas by the Nascar track should have it. Bob

I bet any good Army/Navy surplus store worth their salt would have it also (just trying to think outside the box).

Check with Tom Cook right in your home town of Belton....Tom uses it all the time and I am sure he knows where to buy it.

Dennis,
I have purchased PowerMax several times at the Coleman outlet store in Branson. They always seem to have plenty.

Dennis:

If you have a Sports Authority store nearby, you should be able to purchase this:
http://www.msrcorp.com/stoves/fuel_blend.asp

Mix is 80/20... works very well!!!

"Google" sure is handy......I looked under "Belton Mo. Sporting goods" and found three possible sources..in less than a minute......right in Belton, Mo.

!. Maurer's Southland Sports.
2. Hunter's Paradise Supplies.
3. Riddell All-American Sports.

Have you checked with any of these local merchants?

I got a Propane valve from Tom Cook, But I didn't see powermax.

I started the P-70 Two out of two, starts last night on the first try each time.
It started right up on propane. I do need to change the "T" connectors to Festo on the propane side.
I was surprized to see how easy it was to start.

Butane for refillable cigarette lighters works great in warm to hot weather.

I got my Powermax from Gander Mountain, but I can't seem to find a trigger valve for it now. BVM says they are out of stock/discontinued. Where might a person find one?

Dennis,
The Bass Pro Shops here in Springfield always has it. If you can't find any there locally let me know and I will go buy some at Bass Pro and bring it with us to the Route 66 Jet Rally. We will be there Thursday afternoon. If you need me to get some just let me know.
