My Scorpion finally flew today
Finally got the Scorpion in the air today. Very Very nice, no issues. This was my third attempt to get it in the air and finally it happened. I has to pitch up the nose with a 3/8 " block to give a better AOA. That was the answer. Flew very well with no trimming. On my forth circle around the field it began to rain. (I was determened to fly today) I lowered the gear and did a flyby to check gear and most of the wheels were down but not all of them. One main hung up. Raised the gear and bellied in on the grass with no damage. Have to say one thing, after worring about the weight, CG, thrust. I got myself all bent out of shape. It flew like a dream.......
Thanks for the help from you guys that flew a Scorpion.

Yes I hope I have the problem solved. They are Behotec retracts. A small amount of fileing may have takin care of the problem. (I hope) Well back to the field again today and hopefully no rain and I can see what my P80 can do.
Thanks

Hoss, to fix that problem, first take an new shotgun shell, 12 guage, open the end and dump out the shot, remove the wad and carefully pour the power out onto a paper, then remover the glow plug from the engine, pour the power into the engine through the glow plug hole, replace the glow plug. Next open the fuel valve and do an engine start... after you get home from the hospital your problems will be over! See, what are friends for, ha, ha, ha...ha. Sorry Hoss, couldn't resist! See ya at the field, and no, without a shot gun shell, later
