jr -ar9000 2.4 gig
well there has been alot of good and bad info on the 2.4 system but this weekend at the bluegrass jet jam we installed and flew the ar-9000 modules and receivers in a booomer xl and a bobcat.
both worked flawlessly the boomer xl was flown up till it was a speck and all was good or better than 72 ever was . best of all - no pin required and no chance of being shot down . the next day a local hobby shop showed up with his stock of receivers and we bought 2 more sets.
JR- feel the difference!--- we beleive!

RE: jr -ar9000 2.4 gig
Hi Gerry, I have a Euro Sport that I am ready to test the new Spectrum 2.4 module in. I am here in Dayton on vacation. We did a long range 1/2 mile range test at Wright Patt AB yesterday. Is there a way you can get us in to the Torks field for a flight test?
Regards, Dennis

G.Kerr, don't forget the F9F that went 2.4 that week-end. Mike flew it several times, and bought a another receiver for a second plane. Thanks for the good word you made my bank very happy. Also saw several other jets that were using 2.4gig. Our next show is the Vette City Bird the last week-end of July. It will be interesting to see the radio count then. Dennis

A bit of a side note here...but related to JR's 2.4 offerings. We know they have announced their 9 and 12 channel 2.4GHz radios (July/Fall respectively). I seem to remember reading about at 16 channel in the works. Is this rumor true? If so, what's the rough ETA?

We also have taken one of our JR 10X and placed the new 2.4 module in it and the AR9000 in a BVM Prop - Otop
it flew 10+ times at an even this weekend and it will now go straight to the King Cat or Bob Cat. We have 2 other
receivers to test and then place in the Jets. This new system work flawlessly for us.
