Last ear I ordered a new canopy and cockpit kit from them. When it came I looked at it and was not real pleased. For lack of knowing how to describe it best, there is an over abundance of materiall used in the manufacture of the canopy and it congealed in the top of the canopy and is very noticeable. I called him and he said that there was a flaw in the mold or something and that there were no other canopies to replace it with. He did offer me the option of returning the canopy but I kept it since he was not clear as to how long if ever they were going to make a new run of canopies.

And VERY slow...

Hard to believe they don't have an email address in the day of instant information. Each time I have ordered something from them it has taken months to ship. I ordered a cowl once that took so long I didn't need it any more. When I called to cancel the order after several months, I was charged a restocking fee.

I had a similar problem with them. I ordered a fan and shroud for the Byron F16 in October and haven't heard a thing back from them. They said they would have them back in production within a month but I finally gave up and bought one through the RC-Universe.

I know they are working on trying to get the whole manufaturing process up and going. They have been purchasing equipment to do so. But there is an extreme amount of things involved in being able to do it all as it previously was. I think part of the delays are due cause they have just been flooded with orders. There is a ton of Byron stuff out there and people need things all the time. Now add to that the fact that nothing was avaiable for a few years this means you now have years of "back orders" sort to speak to make up for. I suspect they didn't expect it to take off as fast and as buisily as it did.

I talked to them about ordering a Byron Fan unit and they said they had to make some shrouds first. They had some of the components but not the shrouds. Two months later and still nothing! I bought a couple of fans off RC Universe.
