Arthur,

If you come near Paris I'll be glad to meet you, and to show you around what we have here, we could plan a visit to Eric Rantet's factory too.
However i don't know any jet Flyer in the Toulouse area

Mike,

You're right , some people are talking about a large jet meeting in Normandy this year, but nothing has been officialy released for now.
For now the only jet meeting that I know and that is worth coming is the Tiger meet, in Beauvais which is 80 km north of Paris.
It will happen the 7 8 and 9th of June, which is a good idea for foreign jet flyers as it is the same week end as La ferté Alais full size warbird meeting. One day full size meeting and two days of jet meeting what can you whish more!!! )
The Tiger meet is a very relaxed meeting, usualy about 20 aircraft are there.
Their web site is http://mcb.modelisme.free.fr/

Brg

Are there any large events (both jet and otherwise) in Europe this summer? Preferably ones near an airport suitable for a Dash 8...

Mike

That would be great if you come, we already have 2 Belgian friends coming there.

John

I'll post the info about the Normandy Jet meeting as soon as I get them.
For now we have a small gathering in Normandy at the end of april.
I think that it is to check the suitability of the airfiels for a large meeting.
Anyway the infos will be send to the you British guys via Dick Spreadbury, I know he has a lot of e-mail adress so that will be easy!
I plan to cross the channel this summer too, which meeting should I come?
I went to Abingdon last year and it was quite good!

Default Rafale tigre

Hi Johnny,

I've found the details about the Tigered Rafale.
It belonged to Mr David Fournier.
Weight was 10.6kgs (a bit heavy probably) and had a Jet cat P80 for power.
It was made from a Christen Diffusion kit.
