Default Kangaroo Cof G Position????

Just a quick question for a friend who has just picked up a used Kanagroo.

Would anyone know the Cof G Position of a Kangaroo. Not sure which version of Kangaroo it is, even if this should make a difference!!!!

Many Thanks

Peter

If you have your gear mounted in the stock position have it sitting on the ground with no fuel in it than lift on the front of the jet and
it should be very light to lift and it will sit on its tail without falling down. Now this is how I had my jet set up and it flew the best. If you have to mutch nose weight it is hard to get the jet to slow down on landing and than you will get the kangaroo bounce if you land to hot.

100mm in from of the wing tube, but I had trouble getting mine to balance there and not really any way to add tail weight, so I am about 150mm in front of the tube. Flys great the way it is though.

Couple pics of mine from the Big Apple Jet Rally in NY yesterday.

My old Roo (Fibreclassics /Graupner) book has 95-100mm in front of the LE of the wing tube. fuel empty

also for your reference:
elevator travel +/- 25 mm
aileron travel +/- 20 mm
rudder travel +/- 8-10 mm

all with 20% eponential

my first flight at 120-125 mm flew "nose heavy" and I ran out of elevator landing after flame out. [&:]

I just checked it again, because I had recently re-painted the booms. It is at 110mm in front of the tube. Moving it back may help slow it down for landing, but I just apply the brakes before landing on a slide switch, get is is slow as possible, and sticks right to the ground.

Here are some clearer pics.....It won best turbine flight this weekend. Not bad for an old Roo haha.
