Default the "F"word

if any of you run across the bay of quinte pics- see david shulman wearing a futuba team shirt .
let the stories begin!!!!!!!!!!!!
bvm is a jr dealer and all his jets are jr equipped. - talk about a conflict of interest for david if he has gone to the dark side!

Good for him and BVM. BVM will benefit a lot from a Futaba expert.

The rest of you can come out of the closet now.

David

PS. Actually JR sould be the "dark side", and Futaba the "green side". Both Purple and Black and Purple and Green make for some really good color combinations.

There's nothing wrong with either brand. If Futaba signed David then Futaba just got themselves a great rep and a great pilot. It doesn't reflect upon anything other than they made David a better offer than Horizon could match. You really shouldn't read anything into the quality of the brand based upon who they sponsor.

Probably just a better deal, a tennis star ( Connors , I think) back in the 80's was interviewed as to why he switched racquet companies-he said he would play with a broom if the money was right. Scott

Maybe he reps Futaba only in Canada and JR in the USA so we can keep all the good radios to ourselves, HA.

After crashing a 20K jet because of some lousy JR programming, it probably wasnt as hard to make that decision. I personally thought JR owed David a new airplane.
By the way I have never owned anything Futaba, but ill be listening to Daves Futaba experience very closely.

Wouldn't it be easier and less contentious to simply PM David and ask him??? Threads like this one only lead to wild specutlation with a few Ford vs Chevy battles thrown in.....

Maybe it was just laundry day, and the only clean T-Shirt Dave has was a Fubarta one.

Maybe he spilt some kerosine on his JR shirt and he borrowed a clean one of his brother Jason (which is a Futaba rep)

To difficult matters there are most of the time simple answers

Poor Dave gets more bad press than the President[].

Keep on flying Dave, just remember that we only talk about people who matter (no one would give a rat's a** what shirt I wear).

This thread sounds like a bunch of old ladies with nothing better to do than guess why someone is wearing a Futaba shirt.

I could care less what radio Dave is using, he's old enough to decide what is right for himself.
I also like to think that I am smart enough to weigh the pro's and cons of everything that is available and decide for myself which system I want to use.
Right now I have a 10X and a old 10SX, but I will be looking closely at the "dark side" when I decide to switch to spread spectrum.
