Heart of Ohio Update
The runway extension and ramp expansion has started! Grading work was completed this past weekend, with the cement to be poured this comming weekend. Revised runway will be slightly under 1000' with smooth runoffs. The TORKS organization is going the extra mile to make this one of the best Jet sites anywhere. Looking forward to showing it off this August! Big T

Terry and all the TORK members,
You guys are unbelievable! What a great field, it is always a great pleasure to see everyone at the Heart of Ohio Scamble. This shows what great leadership and a receptive club can do to have a world class facility. See you in August.

Big T,
You guys are "Off The Hook!!!!"
This will be a great year to fly at your site, can't wait. Maybe we should be flying there more than once a year?

Bro. Bob,
I thank the for your observation on the pic that I posted. I have many pics but I am at work and only have a few here to post, but just for you here are two from last year HOH meet.
I have plenty of you after the meet that I am not aloud to post, shame.
Peace and love my brother , see you Thursday on the flight line.

RE: Heart of Ohio Update
To All Jet Pilots,
Since the concerns at Darby Dan and the roadblocks imposed by the FAA moved the Heart of Ohio Jet Scramble to our club field, not only has the event been successful the last 2 years but also has been a lot of fun for our membership and benefited our local community.
As part of TORKS constitution, we have pledged to promote model aviation, and to support our local community. I can think of no better way to meet our commitment than to continue to hold the Heart of Ohio Jet Scramble at our club field.
We know that some of the Jet community has had concerns about our runway length, especially with the bigger scale models. Those of you that have attended the Jet Scramble in the past know that we listen to you and are always looking for ways to improve the event.
Although extending our runway is a significant expense, our membership unanimously approved the funds. We are pleased to be able to extend our runway and provide a site appropriate to showcase such a great event!
I hope all of you will agree and support our event by attending this year and in years to come.
I look forward to seeing you and your aircraft in action again this year. I’ll once again have the best seat in the house directing the flight line activities as “Air Bossâ€.
Thanks in advance for attending the 2007 Heart of Ohio Jet Scramble and be sure to let us know how we can continue to improve our event!

Heart of Ohio is a class act. A great event will now be even better. Bringing the entire family (Sparky too). Can hardly wait to get there. Great to hear you're attending Ky Jets.

Patrick. you tha man dude! Be sure to bring that little girl along with that F-4 back this year. Looking forward to a little cuddle time at the dinner again. By the way, we are doing a pig and chicken roast on Friday evening this year. Tried out a new bar-b-que company and they are the best! Big T
