Photo of current installation.
Just four flights so far but with totally reliable and bubble free fuel supply.

Bruce,

what is the correct installation position. horizontal, angled or vertical. The kuss filter in mine goes only went half way down the bottle and nothing below. Should it not reach near the bottom of the bottle? I should mention that this was dry, I have not checked if it expanded with the fuel in there. Please advise and thanks.

Does this bubble trap come with an option for a barbed fitting on the suction side instead of the festo fitting?

I mounted mine at a 45 degree angle. I found it to be very easy to purge the air from.

It doesn't mater how short the bag is, if the tank is an inch below the cap with air, the engine will quit, This is a constant pressure system to the fuel pump as long as the tank stays full you won't have air in the system... 45 degrees in any direction is the best way to use the tank, but I've seen them laid flat, up-right and on there side and still work perfect... As soon as your main tank is empty, you are done flying... the tank won't help...

Bruce,

I also think that a fitting like BVM style is better than a Festo fitting on the suction side, to avoid sucking air into the fuel system.

Will you consider making them like this ?

Yes, I will make them with a barbed fitting if you like.. The Festo has worked great and has never leaked air.. But if you want it barbed.. You got it...
