You guys with Skymaster, JetLegend, FEI Bao, Xtreme Jets, F-15's....what are you using for servos on the rudders and elevators?
I'm thinking 8411's at 6v for elevators, what about the rudders? What fits?

So 8411's on 6v aren't enough?
Thats what I used on my Raptor and it was fine, the stabs were much bigger as well.

I have over 120 flights on SM F-15s all with 8611s and all were successful. I also believe that the 8611s are what is recommended by the manufacturer. When I ordered mine, I asked for all the recommended servos and the 8611 is what showed up.

I have a Yellow F15 and used all 8411's w/o any issues. There are many places where an 8611 will not fit on either the Yellow or Fei Bao. I'm now building a Fei Bao F15 and will use all 8411 except on the rudder, they will require something with a thinner profile to get them to fit, not sure about the other mfg's of F15's. If you have a Fei Bao, what are you using on the rudders?

Ive had 2 of those, flew em both and sold em both...Im trying to remember. I had 3421s and 3301s but I cant remember which one went on the rudder and which one was on the ailerons. I want to say they were the 3421s though. In any case...be careful with the rudders on this plane. Both of mine were really sensitive to the rudder and had some roll coupling associated with it.

Alright then go ahead and use the 8411s....you asked. From an economic standpoint, Im also not sure why you would use an 8411 with significantly less torque while the cost is not all that different. Its $$/oz of torque.
