I have never had an issue with the TX battery but i would never let it run down to alarm state.
I fast charge mine at the field if needed.
Just open up the bat box and plug the bat directly into the charger lead.

As for lockouts or 'issues' not a single one in five years , so glad i went FASST.

Thanks for responding. But my question was not regarding the battery alarm. It was about the 12FG's output range when the battery level is getting nearer the battery alarm. Is it affected by the battery voltage or not?

I can not answer that question.
I have never experienced the alarm or any range issues.

It makes sense that as power drops below a certain level there may be a drop in output, but i do not know for sure how it is set up on the 12FG.
Sorry i can not be more helpful.

I prefer spektrum's menu. With any main dish you order you get all these little satellite side dishes. They say you need those in order to make the main dish taste right.

Well
9 years + now of happy, glitch free, lockout free, brownout free perfect RF connection.
In all types of conditions and levels of 'ambient RF background'
Still flying using only 4.8 volts on the rx.
Its flown in Jets, Heli, petrol, glow and electric.

Best gear out there.
IMHO
