Hello,

I need to find out the type/size of the set screw used in the Spring Air 500 series retracts. Need to replace mine and local store don't carry them.

Does all series use the same size?

I have had this problem before, either a stripped thread or a set screw I could not find. To solve this go to the next larger size set screw and retap the thread. This has always worked for me.

Got an email from SpringAir. They are Allen Head tap screw 6/32 x 5/16th long.
They have them in stock at SpringAir.
