Florida Jets Pics...
Nice shots. Incidentally, the Falcon 50 had an engine problem and didn't fly, at least it hadn't when I left at 4:45 Sunday. Here's the WX we had on Sunday, perfect background for BV's F-100F.

Rutan Ares at FJ

Attached is a picture of the Ares with the designer, builder and pilot Kerry Sterner. The aircraft won the Designer Achievement award this year. It had previously won Best Civilian Jet at FJ in 1997. This aircraft is eight years old and has over 150 flights. The aircraft is now officially retired and it will be a static display at future jet meets. The Ares is going into production at a future date.

Here is another picture of the other Ares at FJ. The black one was modeled by Jay Smullen. It is painted in the scheme used in the movie Iron Eagle III.
