Default BVM or DIGITECH UAT

Hello,

I don't know what to choose for UAT. Digitech or BVM ? Is it the same ? One is cheaper (digitech)
Is it really efficient ?

Thanks
Jeanfi

i have both in use..

so far i can't see any difference..they are, for me, the same...

they work perfectly both...

the only difference: the digitech is cheaper and i think you can get parts to repaire/maintain it!

Both the BVM and the Digiteck use the same bottle, centre tank festo fitting and the all important sack inside is exactly the same in both too. So if both are assembled to the same standards and are tested for leaks then I guess theres little to choose between the either of them.

before i get shotdown:

most of all parts are bought on the free market...(90% usa)
the bottles also..
the Teflon tape , nipples , aluminium parts are in made in house.
most important it put,s food on my family,s table...
and yes they are pressure tested under water.
and yes occasionaly my helper sometimes blows one up under water when he forgets to regulate it to 5 bars .
goes up to 10 bars and covers him and the workshop under water.
must i add that we laso make a big brother that holds 8 oz works perfect and sucks the last drop out of it.
perfect for larger engines (160 and up)

you must heard of the saying:
who invented the copper wire?
answer: 2 dutch people fighting over 1 cent.
yep the tape was an error

LOL - I know the Jews and us Scots get a reputation for thriftiness, but didn't realise the Dutch got it too.

No probs on the tape.... I just wondered if you'd found "a better mousetrap" somehow.

well i am using now the 8oz model and hook 2 tanks to it.
saves you on another link between tanks , and less chance in going different volumes.
seems to be working great.
funny thing about the 8 oz is i got a customer who used the 8 oz as a main tank for his colibri engine.
fly time 5 minutes...

Well i would buy the Digitech one, because Sandor is my best mate, & i would not like to see his family begging on the streets of Klimmenlimburg fighting over a piece of copper wire. He he. Ray.

That sounds like a good idea - how about a drawing showing how you arrange the piping please!

The Hanson UAT is also worth a look. I think he has some in the classifieds.

yeah we looked at that , that is a patch only and not a real solution.
if we make it it will be not made into the airtrap ;-)
