......i realy dont know what i ask i just try to avoid any mistakes in my setups.....

Do a SEARCH.
Specifically, put a search for "5645"
And then for grins, under the "author" portion of 5645 put in my username "seanreit"
After reading all that, you can do some other searches for 5645, but IMO, reading what I've wrote about that particular servo should tell you all you need to know.

And I thought today my blood pressure was going to be normal
You guys are sofa-king funny, ya, fly your jet with 5645's and report back here how great it was. Prove me wrong, and I'll say GREAT FOR YOU. What's that joke about Natural Light being so good? How could 5 million rednecks be wrong? Or something like that.. [

Don't worry about Marty. I fly with him and we give him greef about the HiTechs in his Reaction ALL THE TIME. After about the 5th or 6th failure of the HiTech retract servo in his plane, I think he's starting to see the light.

I, myself, bought a used Skymaster F-15 with all HiTech servos in it. I replaced the stabalator ones with 8711's because I just didn't trust them, but decided to keep the HiTechs in on the other surfaces to start out. Well, after a failure of one of the aileron servos and then one of the flap servos, they came out too. This is on a plane with about 100 flights total. I just sold a Kangaroo with over 400 flights on the 8411's in it and they were still going strong. IMHO, HiTechs are not worth using in a jet - at least on critical functions. Spend the extra $20 per servo and get the right sized JR's!
This is an old story though...

I have flown all my planes on Hitecs servos, both jets and warbirds and have never had an issue. The only time i had problems with Hitecs is on the 5995's I first bought. The mosfet trans burned out on them but Hitec replaced them no questions asked and they are now in my Tams F-16. Havent had a problem with them at all. I have several 5645's as well and havent had a problem with them either.

Now now Bob, let's not exaggerate. I've had one failure with the Hitec 225MG mini servo for the retract valve. Two other times it was very jittery and I attribute that to the 225 having a issue with a off the charger 5 cell voltage with no regulator and it stopped doing it after a few minutes. No excuses for that but you shouldn't condemn the entire line of servos for a problem here or there. If that was the case we wouldn't be using any brand.
My Reaction 54 has 4 5645's and two 5625's all of which have performed flawlessly in dozens of flights and I have 5 5645's in their third aerobat with a combined 300+ flights. Like Bob said, it's an old story

Been using Hitec 5645s for about 5 years with no issues. I always run them in on the Hitec programmer.
Several years ago, I built 2 Facet 2300s. One with Hitec 5645s and one with JR 8611s. I could tell no difference between the 2 when flying.
Well.... there was one difference. The one with 5645s would slow down better due to the fact that I was able to program 180 degree travel on the flap servos. This gave the servo more travel and eliminates any load on the servo at zero flap deflection or full flap deflection.

Actually two of the ones that died were 5645's, but this discussion is going down an old road...
I will say that if Marty is going to use HiTechs in his JL F-15 though, I for one, am going to take cover when he flys it - and not just because of his landings!
Just kidd'n Marty

. Actually, I have 5645's on the flaps. I had some Futaba digitals in there but I wasn't sure what kind of torque was needed for the flaps. The Futabas are about 90 in/oz at 6.0 volts. Is that enough?Marty
