Default BVM Jets

I've built about everything there is to build. I love to build and constantly will make sure I have the "NEXT" project in mind before the current one is finished.

Not knocking the other manufacturers. I feel their kits are very nice.
I've heard that BV charges too much etc. etc. etc. Well untill you've built a Bvm model, you have nothing to say.

I've had 4 of BVs models and will have to say that they fly superbly. I'm now building a Bob Cat XL. I can hardly believe what engineering has gone into his kits.

It's also the reason they can withstand 200 plus MPH flight speeds.
I' so Impressed with BVM that I see no reason to build anything but.
Just one satisfied customer giving his 2 cents worth.

I live in Australia and if you think BVM stuff is expensive in the US then you should see what they are over here. I had most of my BVM stuff carried in by a friendly Fedex 747 Captain. So I saved the freight and "other" costs. I have built 2 BVM Sabres, and one Viper. I am now working on a Bobcat. I have never built any other Jet kit. I suppose we (BVM customers) just like super quality and are prepared to pay for it. Some people drive Toyotas (I do) and others drive BMW's etc.
You can't take it with you. I work hard for my money and spend as much as I can and enjoy it.
I am sure the other kits are very good and from what I have seen they certainly fly very well but I will stick to my good old expensive BVM stuff.

I have also built a lot of BVM kits, and a lot of others. Comparing the product by price alone is not a fair comparison. The kits are all well engineered, leaving very little to the builders imagination. If you follow the instructions, and plans you are guaranteed a model that will fly well, and will stay together in the air. If you should damage a part (crunch the nose, etc...) you can buy the section you need. If you should need a new wing panel the new panel will fit exactly like the old one did (ask me how I know this!) If problems arise with the airframe design, then BVM is quick to post airframe directives on their website. Also manufacturer support is there at almost every major jet rally in the country. If the big trailer is there chances are that if you broke a landing gear strut you can get a replacement and continue flying through the weekend. I'm not a BVM rep but have been a satisfied customer for years.

Default BVM F-86

Another satisfied BVM customer! There are definitely other good kits out there as well. I like the products that BVM offers and don't have anything negative to say at all.

Hey Scott,
Love that sabre in the picture above - Have it in my basement now ready to go!! Just need warmer weather to arrive. Nice build job

While not currently flying a BVM product I have had several over the years. I have found them to be well engineered and great flying airplanes. My F-86 probably had over 400 flights when I sold it and was without doubt the best flying airplane I have ever owned. All my current airplanes have numerous BVM parts in them because they work! No doubt BV's stuff is expensive, but that is part of flying turbine powered aircraft. I will continue to buy and use BV's kits and accessories because you get your money's worth.

Parts fit, engineering, quality, and customer support are worth the small extra price you pay for a BVM kit. I've built many BVM kits over the years and loved every one of them----They spoil you. There are other good kits out there as well----BV's are the benchmark which all other kits are compared compared to. When a new kit is introduced to the market how many times have you heard, "How does it compare to a BVM kit?" BV's kits are worth every penny!
